Broken down and beaten, Elijah heads to the Elven Capital with his companions. Their plan is to teach Eli to take control of his magic, with help from a tutor assigned by the elven King Norialin. Believing they have bought themselves some time before the next attack from the Master, the king sends out scouts to spy on their foe.
But when a betrayal of trust leads to assassination attempts, they learn there are spies in their own camp that must be flushed out.
Elijah is in a race against time to find the assassin and get the information they need before they strike again, or worse, kill someone. Plus, Eli has a powerless Dragon Lord to contend with trying to teach him his history, though, the old man refuses to give up anything that might actually help them.
Finally revealing the location of the last dragon's nest and the theory behind the master's plans. But where there are nests there are dragon eggs, the final thing The Master needs to fulfil his destiny, start the ritual and become a god.
Can Elijah overcome these obstacles, control his magic and stop The Master before he executes his plan, or will the whole world fall to the rule of a mad man?
